The Paper Players caught my eye this week with their challenge:
World of Crafters Sept. challenge is also “trees”, so I will be posting this card to both challenges. Here is my card, you can click on it to make it larger:
All of my supplies are Stampin’ Up!, except for the little leaf gem. I stamped my image with Stazon Ink, and then sponged on my colors. I used Old Olive, More Mustard, Cajun Craze. I used the same color Stampin’ Up! cardstock. The string is SU Bakers Twine-Early Espresso & White.
Thanks for stopping by:) Have a great week!

OMGoodness, it’s been a long time, sorry:( My daughter and her two girls moved in with us for a while and it’s been incredibly hectic!
For my post today, I’m using a sketch from World of Crafters. It’s not a blog, it’s a craft forum. You have to register, but it’s free. Lots of wonderful people there:) Here is the sketch, it’s also CAS:
Here is my card:
I have used all Stampin’ Up! products:) I used Sahara Sand for the background, Fresh Vintage for the images, and Warm Words (retired) for the sentiment. I put an extra layer of cardstock under the images to pop them up just a tad. I will have more details in my Supply list below.
I’m glad you could stop by today:) I’m sorry for my long absence:( I hope to order supplies from the new catalog this week. I can hardly wait to show you some new stamps! Please come back again:)

Before I get into the details of this card, I would like to mention my new badge:) On the right side about half way down, you will see that I received an Honorable Mention for my card last week at Merry Monday with Always Playing with Paper! I love badges and this is so cool! I hope you will go over there and check out the other cards:)
Now for this card, there wasn’t a sketch. The theme over at World of Crafters for the general card challenge was to make a card using one of the tutorials over at Splitcoaststampers. Here is my card made totally with Stampin’ Up! products:)
I hope everyone likes blue, because I use it as often as I can! lol The background for this card is from a Pattern Pack-Night of Navy. The light hitting it makes it kind of glow. The technique I used is called: Scallop Edge Medallion. I used my SU Scallop Punch. I love the look with all the rhinestones:)
I’m off now to make my card for Merry Monday. It will be over at my “other” blog;) Well, at least I think so. If you follow both of my blogs, you will get a notice either way:)
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope to see you again soon:)
