Freshly Made #31

Something a little different today:)  Ok, it’s only a little different;)  First off, here is the sketch this week from Freshly Made Sketches:

Here is my card, it’s a little different because I used a Lace’ ( Lay-say )template. They no longer make them, that’s sad:(  Everything else is all Stampin’ Up!

I had a busy day today!  Today was my granddaughter’s 7th birthday:)  Kids, cupcakes……need I say more?  I’m up very late to finish this card, so I am off to bed now.  Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to head over and see the other cards from the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches🙂

Stamping 411 #251

I found some time today to do an extra challenge:) !  This one I found over at Stamping 411.  Here is their sketch:

Here is my card:

I colored about 5 of these images before I liked one.  Yes, 5!  I am so picky, and not very good at coloring:(  I decided to use my  In Colors.  I don’t use them as often as I would like.  I’m kind of stuck on Garden Green and Real Red.   Hmmmm, that might be because I work on a Christmas card every week. lol

Anyway…..I used Stampin’ Up! Rainy Days, it’s a retired set from 1999, but I love it!  I didn’t like the coat, and I had already colored it 5 times, so I colored just the coat and popped it up with dimensionals.  Such a cute image!

I also used a retired set for my “giggle”, it’s from Warm Words, 2006.  I cut the stems off the brad and popped it on with half a dimensional.  I hope you like it:)

Thanks for stopping by today:)  I will be making another Christmas card on Monday, hope you can stop by and see it later in the week:)

World of Crafters April Challenge

Before I get into the details of this card, I would like to mention my new badge:)  On the right side about half way down, you will see that I received an Honorable Mention for my card last week at Merry Monday with Always Playing with Paper!  I love badges and this is so cool!  I hope you will go over there and check out the other cards:)

Now for this card, there wasn’t a sketch.  The theme over at World of Crafters for the general card challenge was to make a card using one of the tutorials over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is my card made totally with Stampin’ Up! products:)

I hope everyone likes blue, because I use it as often as I can! lol  The background for this card is from a Pattern Pack-Night of Navy.  The light hitting it makes it kind of glow.  The technique I used is called: Scallop Edge Medallion.  I used my SU Scallop Punch.   I love the look with all the rhinestones:)

I’m off now to make my card for Merry Monday.  It will be over at my “other” blog;)  Well, at least I think so.  If you follow both of my blogs, you will get a notice either way:)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope to see you again soon:)

Merry Monday #14

Oh My Goodness, I had so much trouble with this sketch!  Lots of shapes and layers!  I started over several times!  I’m sorry I’ve been gone so long:(  I always feel like I’m running a race, there is so much to do!

This is a sketch from Always Playing with Paper-Merry Monday.

Here is the card I made:

All supplies are Stampin’ Up! except the holly leaves.  They were just in my stash of Christmas items.  The main image is from Stampin’ Up!, a retired set called Heavenly Peace.

I’m up very late with my grandson, so I will leave you with the supply list and head off to bed.

Thanks for stopping by today:)
